Director/Project Manager
Christina, founder and director of the ICPU, leads and manages all the organization’s projects.

Domestic Violence Manager
Laurett, Founder and Director of Haven for Justice (NPC), partners with the ICPU to provide specialist support in law enforcement, domestic violence and harassment orders, judicial and police support services, and safeguarding victims of family and child abuse.
Social Services Manager
The Social Work Manager collaborates with the ICPU to address social aspects of child protection and family support, providing assessments, counselling, mediation and interventions to safeguard children and families.
Center Manager
Hannatjie Le Roux oversees center management, administration, medical aid claims, reception, financial management, and other essential administrative duties.
Community Officer
The Community Officer is responsible for community engagement, including facilitating awareness programs at schools, churches, and community centers on issues relating to child protection, family violence, and the broader challenges faced by women and children in rural and urban communities.”
Fundraiser
As the Fundraiser for the ICPU and its projects, Ricky Delport builds and nurtures relationships with donors, partners, and sponsors, coordinates funding applications, and works strategically to secure financial resources that enable the ICPU to serve vulnerable women and children effectively.
Forensic Child Assessment Services provide specialized, trauma-informed assessments of children where abuse or neglect is suspected, ensuring accurate documentation, appropriate care, and support for child protection and legal proceedings.
The ICPU works closely with the Children’s Court and Domestic Violence Court to facilitate the swift protection of victims and monitor case progress.
Law Enforcement Agencies, including private security companies, assist with rapid response and emergency safeguarding of children and families at risk. The South African Police Service (SAPS), the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS), and Community Policing Forums (CPFs) are mandated to protect and uphold the rights and safety of women and children. The ICPU ensures accountability and proper follow-up when referring clients to these services.”
Family Law Practitioners offer expert legal advice, guidance, and representation in high-conflict or sensitive cases. The ICPU provides in-house legal consultations to help clients navigate the child and family protection system. Cases managed by our network of practitioners include divorce, custody disputes, parental rights, Children’s Court proceedings, criminal matters, and issues of parental alienation. services.
Medical Support Services include emergency care, medical treatment, and referral to appropriate health services when needed.
Play Therapy Services provide a safe, child-friendly therapeutic space where children can express their feelings and experiences through play, helping them process trauma, develop coping skills, and support their emotional healing and wellbeing.
Statutory Social Services are provided by the Department of Social Development, Child Protection organisations, and other mandated agencies. The ICPU oversees and monitors referrals to ensure appropriate support and accountability.
Therapeutic and counselling services support children, teenagers, young adults, and adults who are experiencing emotional distress due to trauma, abuse, or family violence.
The Elevation Hub provides a vital partnership in restoring the dignity of victims of family violence through its skills development programmes and mentorship. Through access to its extensive network of partner NGOs, the Hub facilitates rapid assistance and the dissemination of important information to like-minded organisations that support the community.
Ruchama (NPC) is an organisation dedicated to supporting victims of family violence by providing essential resources such as food, clothing, and occasionally furniture. They also extend their support to shelters and places of safety, ensuring that women and children in crisis have access to the care and resources they need during emergency situations.”
We work closely with a range of shelters and safe houses to guarantee discreet and secure support for victims of family violence. Through medical assessments and detailed reporting, the ICPU supports the legal processes necessary to protect those affected by violence.
D.O.T Towing assisted the ICPU by transporting our trusted bus to the repair facility, ensuring continued operational efficiency.
Dirk Wiesner and his team repaired and replaced parts of the ICPU’s trusted bus, ensuring its continued reliability for operational use.

In an emergency, PRS Angels and their Crisis Response Team assisted the ICPU by facilitating the towing and servicing of our bus.

ICPU Funders enable us to deliver life-changing projects that protect and empower women and children. ICPU Donors make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families affected by family violence. Whether through financial or in-kind contributions, our donors help us meet urgent and ongoing needs within our programmes. Where resources cannot be directly utilised by the ICPU, we responsibly share them through our Community Emergency Support Network to ensure they reach families and children who need them most.
